Tri-Gas Incubators by Wiggens are designed for advanced cell culture and microbiological research in South Africa. These incubators provide a stable environment for cultivating animal cells, sperm/ovum, anaerobic cells, and various microbes. They are also ideal for supporting tissue hatching and germination processes. Apex Scientific offers this reliable and versatile solution for your laboratory needs.
Advanced Control Systems
These Tri-Gas Incubators include support for N2 and O2 gas supply, enabling precise control of multiple gas parameters during CO₂ incubation. A built-in 25 mm access port on the left side is available upon request. Hot air sterilization heats up to 125°C without removing the IR CO₂ sensor, making routine cleaning efficient. Additionally, an analog connection port allows remote monitoring of real-time performance, ensuring continuous visibility into the incubator’s status.
Efficiency and Convenience
The Peltier cooling system enables operation below room temperature while minimizing gas usage and heat loss. A six-sided direct heating system distributes temperature evenly, and the dry wall plus air jacket insulation speeds up recovery. Natural humidification is provided by a heated water tray, with a circulation fan spreading moisture evenly. Anti-condensation design keeps the chamber clear and conditions stable.
Precision CO₂ and Temperature Regulation
A dual beam IR CO₂ sensor ensures fast, accurate gas readings, unaffected by humidity or ambient changes. The microprocessor PID control manages both CO₂ density and temperature with intelligent precision. Optional decontamination and integrated HEPA filtration systems protect sensitive samples while promoting clean air circulation.
User-Friendly Construction
Designed for ease of use and durability, the stainless steel (SUS304) chamber resists corrosion and contamination. Rounded corners simplify cleaning, and a UV sterilizer (4W) installed in the ceiling provides safe sterilization without harming your samples. Safety alarms alert users to deviations in CO₂ or temperature. In critical cases, the system cuts power to prevent overheating, protecting both equipment and samples.
