How Maestro MEA Works

Measuring activity with the Maestro Pro is easy, label-free, and instantaneous. Cells may be measured as often as you want for as long as you want and maintained normally in any standard incubator when not in use. Microelectrode array

(1) Plate your cells in an MEA plate and culture normally. (2) Load the plate in your Maestro Pro and press record. (3) Action potentials are noninvasively measured by electrodes embedded in the well bottom. (Learn more) (4) AxIS software quickly analyzes the activity providing publication-ready figures.
