Forced Convection vs Natural Convection

Forced convection ovens or incubators use a fan to actively circulate hot air, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and faster heating. In contrast, natural convection rely on gravity-driven airflow, where hot air rises and cooler air sinks. This results in slower, less uniform heating but gentler airflow, ideal for sensitive samples.

Reliable Temperature Control Performance

This incubator ensures reliable temperature accuracy across a wide range with a 3-point calibration system. You can set upper and lower temperature limits, which trigger alerts for any deviations, prompting quick action. The optimized airflow design guarantees uniform temperature distribution, maintaining consistency within ±0.55 °C at 37 °C.

 

Convenient Experiment and Data Checking

For enhanced data management, the incubator supports an RS-232/USB port, allowing easy operation from a PC. You can monitor and control your experiments anytime, anywhere with the optional LC GreenBox mobile monitoring system. Additionally, integration with a Building Management System (BMS) ensures quick responses to any abnormalities. It is also compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 through the LC DataKeeper, making it suitable for GMP audits.

Get Connected

Monitor and control your chamber remotely using the LC Connected mobile app when paired with the LC GreenBox. This convenient setup allows you to access real-time data, adjust settings, and ensure reliable performance from anywhere. All collected data can be easily exported as Excel or text files for seamless reporting and further analysis.

Enhanced Safety and Convenience

Safety is paramount with the IB4-AS, featuring a high-level overheating prevention system (Patent 10-0397583) and an Over Temperature Limiter. It complies with IEC Class II protection standards and DIN 12880 Class 3.1 for temperature protection. The incubator logs the last 12 events, including run times, stops, and errors, providing comprehensive monitoring. Its double stackable design maximizes space utilization, especially in compact laboratories.
