Forced Convection vs Natural Convection

Forced convection ovens or incubators use a fan to actively circulate hot air, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and faster heating. In contrast, natural convection rely on gravity-driven airflow, where hot air rises and cooler air sinks. This results in slower, less uniform heating but gentler airflow, ideal for sensitive samples.

Reliable Temperature Control Performance

With the Standard Forced Convection Incubator, you benefit from accurate and consistent results. The 3-point calibration system enhances reliability across a wide temperature range. You can define both upper and lower temperature limits, allowing the unit to alert you when deviations occur. Optimized airflow ensures uniformity, maintaining temperatures within ±0.41 °C at 37 °C.

Get Connected

Monitor and control your chamber remotely using the LC Connected mobile app when paired with the LC GreenBox. This convenient setup allows you to access real-time data, adjust settings, and ensure reliable performance from anywhere. All collected data can be easily exported as Excel or text files for seamless reporting and further analysis.

Convenient Experiment and Data Checking

Managing experiments is seamless with RS-232/USB connectivity and compatible PC software. Additionally, the optional LC GreenBox enables remote monitoring and control. For enhanced responsiveness, temperature data can also integrate into your Building Management System (BMS). The incubator is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant through the LC DataKeeper, making it suitable for GMP-regulated labs.

Multiple Features to Minimize Incubation Failure

This model includes a water tray that delays media drying, effectively extending incubation times. If the door stays open too long, an alarm activates to maintain temperature stability. In the event of a power outage, the unit resumes operation within 30 seconds. A lock button on the controller prevents unintended adjustments.
