Forced Convection vs Natural Convection

Forced convection ovens or incubators use a fan to actively circulate hot air, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and faster heating. In contrast, natural convection rely on gravity-driven airflow, where hot air rises and cooler air sinks. This results in slower, less uniform heating but gentler airflow, ideal for sensitive samples.

Unique Structural Functions

The IB4-V includes Opti-flow™, a fan speed control system that automatically adjusts airflow according to the type of sample and testing conditions. This improves performance and helps protect delicate samples. Additionally, the unit is stackable with an optional stacking set, helping you maximize vertical space in compact laboratory environments.

Supervise Equipment with Real-time Monitoring

You can monitor temperatures directly through a Building Management System (BMS) for fast responses to any irregularities. For added flexibility, the optional LC GreenBox mobile monitoring system allows full remote control and oversight of your incubator from anywhere, giving your team increased efficiency and peace of mind.

Get Connected

Monitor and control your chamber remotely using the LC Connected mobile app when paired with the LC GreenBox. This convenient setup allows you to access real-time data, adjust settings, and ensure reliable performance from anywhere. All collected data can be easily exported as Excel or text files for seamless reporting and further analysis.

Convenient Experiment and Data Checking

Managing experiments and data is simple with RS-232/USB connectivity. The incubator automatically stores test data, which can be exported in CSV format for easy editing. It also logs the 36 most recent activities, including door openings and system alerts. Integrated LC DataKeeper software (21 CFR Part 11 compliant) ensures compatibility with GMP audit requirements.

Reliable Temperature Control Performance

The IB4-V provides highly accurate temperature control, supported by a 3-point calibration system. With the Ramp Control™ function, users can define how quickly the temperature rises during each experiment. Optimized airflow maintains uniformity, achieving consistent temperatures within ±0.41 °C at 37 °C.
