Designed for high-performance chemical reactions, the BR Series High Pressure Reactors by Wiggens provide a robust and versatile solution for laboratories across South Africa. These systems support a wide range of experimental applications, ensuring both reliability and efficiency.
Versatile Construction
Available in stainless steel, Hastelloy, or PTFE-lined variants, the BR Series reactors offer excellent durability and corrosion resistance. Moreover, the working volume can be easily adjusted between 300 ml and 2,000 ml using interchangeable vessels, making them adaptable for various experimental needs.
User-Friendly Design
The BR Series is designed with usability in mind. A manual quick-closure system allows for fast sealing without tools. Additionally, the conical flange lock and O-ring seal—available in PTFE, FKM, or FFKM—ensure a secure and dependable seal. Stainless steel fitting inserts further enhance the system’s flexibility.
Connection Options
Each reactor lid features six customizable connection points to suit specific experimental requirements. These include:
- Immersion tube for temperature sensor
- Metal rupture disc for pressure safety
- Pressure display
- Vent valve
- Two additional ports for gas or liquid sampling
Temperature Regulation
Accurate temperature control is critical during high-pressure operations. The system includes an internal sensor that monitors temperature via an immersion tube. For added protection, a second sensor can be installed to prevent overheating. Furthermore, compatible stand systems are available to provide stability during experiments.
Intuitive Operation
The 7″ high-resolution display offers an intuitive interface, clearly presenting all critical functions—such as temperature, rpm, pressure, and safety alerts. As a result, researchers can monitor and adjust experiments with ease and precision.
