Certified Fire Resistance and Safety Compliance
Each Type 30 cabinet is tested and certified to provide 30 minutes of fire resistance, offering an essential layer of safety for flammable materials. In case of a fire, several automatic safety features are triggered:
- Safety valves close at 70 ± 10 °C to block air recirculation
- Intumescent seals expand to insulate and seal the cabinet interior
- The Ignis-Lock system locks the doors to prevent access during exposure
As a result, the fire remains contained, minimizing risks to personnel and facilities.
Smart Ventilation and Operator Protection
To ensure safe air exchange, the cabinets are equipped with dual certified valves that enable natural ventilation at least 10 times the cabinet’s internal volume per hour. Moreover, the system supports connection to a motorised extractor. You can also add a charcoal filter to remove toxic vapours—enhancing safety for both staff and lab environments.
