Certified Safety and Advanced Fire Resistance
The Safetybox® S line uses eco-friendly, fire-resistant insulation to ensure up to 90 minutes of protection. In the event of a fire, multiple automated mechanisms are activated. These include an automatic door-closing system at 50 °C and shut-off valves at 70 ± 10 °C. Expanding intumescent seals and the Ignis-Lock system further enhance safety by preventing door access during critical conditions. This ensures flammable materials remain isolated from ignition sources.
Ventilation and Filtration for Operator Safety
To ensure compliance with EN 14470-1, the cabinets feature two certified valves that allow natural ventilation. These valves enable air exchange at a rate of at least 10 times the cabinet’s volume per hour. When connected to an external suction motor, the system can support a charcoal filtration unit. This setup effectively captures harmful vapours, protecting staff from toxic fume exposure.
