Benchtop Vertical Autoclaves
The Raypa AVS-N Series Benchtop Vertical Autoclaves are specifically designed to meet the sterilization requirements of educational and research laboratory facilities in South Africa. These autoclaves streamline the sterilization process for a variety of small solid and liquid loads, including glass, plastics, metal utensils, liquids, culture media, and other laboratory items.
Ideal for Laboratory Use
Engineered for straightforward operation, these benchtop vertical autoclaves ensure advanced safety measures to protect users during routine tasks. Furthermore, their plug-and-play design allows for easy installation, requiring only a power source without the need for dedicated connections.
Economic and Durable
The AVS-N Series autoclaves are both economical and durable. They are tailored for general laboratory sterilization procedures while minimizing resource consumption, such as water, power, and operator time.
Compact Footprint
With chamber sizes ranging from 8 to 15 liters, these autoclaves offer the quality construction of a full-size vertical autoclave in a compact footprint. As a result, they are suitable for any workspace.
Easy Installation and Maintenance
Every AVS-N Series autoclave is designed for easy installation and maintenance. They operate efficiently without a drainage connection, which simplifies setup in various lab environments.
Safety First
Safety is a priority with the AVS-N Series autoclaves. They include features such as an overpressure safety valve, a thermally insulated lid, an overtemperature safety thermostat, an open lid detection system, and an independent safety pneumatic system that locks the main door under positive pressure.
Components Supplied
- Stainless steel wire basket (CV-8 or CV-12)
- 1-meter silicone tube for drainage and condensate collection
- Stainless steel protective grid for the heater element
Standard Sterilization Cycle
- Heating Phase: Heating elements generate saturated steam, expelling cold air until the sterilization temperature is achieved.
- Sterilization Phase: The temperature is accurately maintained for the predefined duration.
- Cooling Phase: A natural cooling phase follows until a safe temperature is reached, with options for faster cooling for solid loads.
